140 & 160 Adelaide Street receives WA’s first 5 Star Green Star ‘Buildings’ Certification

Hesperia’s first completed development at Hazelmere Interchange, 140 & 160 Adelaide Street (formerly 71 Stirling Crescent), has been awarded Western Australia’s first 5 Star Green Star ‘Buildings’ certification under the new Green Star Rating Tool.

Located just 7km from Perth Airport, the 15,400sqm development includes two industrial logistics facilities (and offices) with direct access to key air and freight transport facilities.

Key highlights include:

• Highly efficient all-electric buildings managed as an embedded metering network powered by 100% renewable energy (including 99.6kWp solar).
• Restoration of a degraded wetland buffered by bio-filtration swales.
• Use of low-carbon materials in the structure contributed to a 20% reduction in Upfront Embodied Carbon, with 100% of residual Upfront Embodied Carbon offset.
• Water-efficient fixtures, 5kL rainwater tank plumbed to each office, and waterwise landscaping leading to a 76% reduction in annual operational water consumption.
• Infrastructure and capacity to support EV charging, end-of-trip facilities, and outdoor lunch spots for workers.
