Hesperia welcomes CouriersPlease to Hazelmere Interchange

Hesperia is thrilled to welcome CouriersPlease to Hazelmere Interchange, marking the first tenant to move into the precinct. The newly completed 5,300sqm facility on Adelaide Street will serve as the central depot for CouriersPlease, servicing the Perth metro area.

The courier and parcel delivery service are Australia’s fastest growing franchised courier and has been a leader in the industry for over 40 years. The Company operates a network of over 800 active franchise territories, supported by a dedicated team of 400 professionals across 18 depot locations.

CouriersPlease, CEO, Richard Thame said, “The larger footprint of this innovative facility allows us to ramp up our processing speeds and essentially do what do now, but better, to help WA businesses flourish further. This space also enables us to process parcels more efficiently and, thanks to that added volume, we can quickly expand and provide density for our new Franchise Partners.”

Hesperia Director Judd Dyer highlighted that CouriersPlease’s interest underscores the strategic significance of Hazelmere Interchange.

“CouriersPlease’s commitment to the precinct demonstrates the practicality of the site’s location and proximity to key networks, connectivity and sustainability features,” Mr Dyer said.

The facility will be targeting both a 5 Star Green Star and a 5 Star NABERS rating, as well 6 Star Enviro Development. Other sustainability initiatives include 100% supply of renewable energy and water recycling via water tanks.

“The fast transaction with CouriersPlease demonstrates not only the strong ability of our team working with our partners to reach mutually beneficial commercial outcomes, but also the strong demand for sustainable industrial estates, which is why we strive to embed the highest sustainability and design standards across our projects.”

Hazelmere Interchange’s second facility, 160 Adelaide Street is now available for lease, comprising a 10,000sqm warehouse due for completion in August 2024.

Hazelmere Interchange is strategically located just 7km from Perth Airport and 9km from the Kewdale Terminal Freight Facility and will benefit from the Main Roads WA upgrades to Lloyd Street and Great Eastern Highway.
