Adrian Fini
Founding Director
Adrian is a co-founder of Hesperia and has been involved in property development, property investment and the construction industry in Western Australia for over 35 years, largely in his capacity as the Principal of Fini Group.
He has spearheaded some of Perth’s most progressive residential, commercial, hospitality and retail projects including, most notably, the heritage regeneration of the State Buildings in the Perth CBD.
Adrian is also currently a director of FJM Property, a private investment company with a diverse portfolio of investment properties and businesses. He is the former CEO of Mirvac Fini in Western Australia, and a former executive director and board member of Mirvac Group.
In 2014, he was awarded an Order of Australia (OAM) for his contribution to the arts. In 2016, Adrian received the most prestigious award in the state – Western Australian of the Year – for his contribution towards shaping a better, contemporary city of Perth. In that same year, he was also awarded Western Australian Entrepreneur of the Year.
Adrian has many philanthropic interests such as the Snowdome Foundation and Historic Heart of Perth – of which he is a co-founder and committee member. He is a long-term supporter and board member of Perth Festival and a board member of the University of Western Australia Business School.
Ben Lisle
Founding Director & Managing Director
Ben is a co-founder of Hesperia and has extensive experience in all facets of property development and investment, including due diligence and acquisitions, planning and approvals, sales and leasing, finance, construction and asset management.
As a founding director of Linc Property, Ben delivered a range of successful industrial and commercial projects, all of which provided exceptional social, financial and environmental outcomes. During this time, Linc Property delivered over 230 hectares of industrial land, becoming WA’s largest private developer in this sector.
He was also previously a director and co-founder of investment bank Azure Capital, and a director of Poynton and Partners, where he led major capital raisings, project finance transactions, merger and acquisition transactions and the provision of strategic advisory services.
Ben studied mechanical engineering at the University of Western Australia, where he graduated with first-class honours and as the top student in his year. Ben has since completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
Ben has a variety of philanthropic interests including the arts, education, the prevention of youth suicide, and supporting Indigenous communities. He is a board member of the Christ Church Grammar School Council and Perth Festival.
Kyle Jeavons
Director
Kyle has over 18 years of experience in development management, covering all aspects of the development process.
At Hesperia, he oversees the built form projects through acquisition, planning approval, concept design, construction and delivery.
Before commencing with Hesperia, Kyle held senior management roles at Mirvac Group and Fini Group. As Development Director at Fini Group, he was responsible for the highly successful redevelopment of the State Buildings in Perth’s CBD. He also led the successful bids for major projects such as Elizabeth Quay, Murdoch Health and Knowledge Precinct, and Victoria House at Montario Quarter, Shenton Park.
Kyle holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance and Property. He has a passion for arts and culture, and for seven years has been the Deputy Chair of ArtRage, a not-for-profit organisation that operates Fringe World – the largest open-invitation culture and arts festival in Australia.
Judd Dyer
Director
Judd is well established in the WA property industry, leading project delivery and new business at Hesperia.
Across his career, Judd has led a range of complex commercial negotiations and transactions, property and business acquisitions, and overseen the delivery of a number of award-winning residential, commercial, industrial and built form projects.
Through senior roles in both private and listed companies, he has broad relationships across private, government, indigenous, not-for-profit and institutional funds sectors.
Judd holds a Masters of Applied Finance alongside a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Town Planning. Judd is a board member of SwanCare Group, one of WA’s leading retirement and aged care services providers, where he chairs the Group’s Finance and Risk Committee. He also sits on the Industrial and Infrastructure Committee for the Property Council of Australia’s WA division.
Rowan Clarke
Director
Rowan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Hesperia’s acquisitions, funding, deal structuring, due diligence and business development activities.
His diverse career experience includes over 14 years within property, investment banking and business development, both locally and internationally.
Prior to Hesperia, Rowan held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, Azure Capital and Wesfarmers. He has advised on a range of transaction types, including public and private merger and acquisition transactions, as well as debt capital raisings.
Rowan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and has completed his MBA at London Business School. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance.
Abby Wheeler
Executive Assistant
Abby brings an extensive skill set to her role in providing executive support to Ben Lisle and the wider Hesperia executive team.
Abby also provides integral administration support for the wider group across all Hesperia projects.
Prior to working at Hesperia, Abby worked in London as an Executive Assistant within one of the city’s prominent hedge funds.
Alessio Fini
Creative Lead
Alessio provides direction on all creative aspects at Hesperia such as urbanism, architecture, interiors, graphic design, customer experience, and both digital and traditional marketing.
In his previous role at Fieldwork Architects, Alessio was a lead designer on residential, commercial and cultural projects including Cremorne Offices and the Collingwood Arts Precinct. Prior to Fieldwork, he worked for leading practices in the UK working across high-end retail, exhibitions and cultural projects.
Alessio holds a Bachelor of Environments from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Masters of Architecture (with Honours) and a Masters of Interior Architecture from London Metropolitan University. He is also a founding member of Future West Australian Urbanism, a bi-annual magazine that looks towards the future of urbanism and addresses the need for conscientious debate about architecture, planning, culture, and society across Western Australia and beyond.
Brett Chivers
Senior Development Manager
Brett plays an integral role in overseeing planning, environmental, engineering and construction disciplines through the delivery of complex civil works and built form projects.
Brett has over 35 years of experience in the delivery of complex infrastructure within the civil engineering and land development sectors. Prior to joining Hesperia, Brett was a director at Benchmark Projects. His extensive career includes time working at GHD Consulting and Main Roads WA.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours from the University of Western Australia. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, the Civil College of Institution of Engineers and holds his NPER-3 Civil Registration.
Brianna Fox
Executive Assistant & Office Manager
With over eight years’ experience in the property industry, Brianna provides support to the executives and senior managers across Hesperia.
Bringing a wealth of experience to her role, Brianna provides day-to-day support and administration to the executive team and the wider project groups.
Before joining Hesperia, Brianna worked within the commercial real estate industry as an executive assistant and in administration support.
Callum Hart
Development Manager
Callum is responsible for the management and delivery of Hesperia’s mixed-use and residential projects.
Prior to Hesperia, Callum worked at Cedar Woods Properties on large scale residential land developments through acquisition, planning, design and delivery.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double majoring in Property and Finance) from Curtin University.
Daniel Gorjy
Assistant Development Manager
Daniel works across Hesperia’s residential built form projects and provides support for the group’s project marketing and corporate communications.
Daniel started his career within his family’s property development business. During this time, he gained experience in medium density residential projects. He worked across a variety of roles such as land acquisitions, sales and marketing, business development and portfolio management.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property & Marketing) and is currently studying a Master of Applied Finance at UWA.
David Paz
Development Manager
David is responsible for the management and delivery of Hesperia’s commercial and industrial projects, focussing on complex planning processes and civil works delivery.
He has over 13 years’ experience in the industry, previously working for Halcyon Property as a project manager, and at Landgate as a property valuer.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Commercial Law and Property) from Curtin University, as well as a Diploma in Building and Construction. He has recently completed his MBA at the University of Western Australia. David is also an Outlook Committee Member for the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA Division).
Elaine McElroy
Interior Design & Procurement Manager
Elaine oversees the interior design and procurement for all built form projects at Hesperia. She was part of the development team that delivered the internationally-awarded State Buildings project, encompassing COMO The Treasury Hotel.
Her career spans 25 years in interior design management across a broad range of project types. In her prior role as interior design manager at Mirvac, Elaine worked on over 1,000 residential apartments, houses, and several key hospitality projects.
Elaine previously worked with Woods Bagot where she led the Interior Design Team in the ‘Global Studio,’ working primarily on hospitality projects in the Middle East. She has extensive experience delivering significant commercial and medical projects locally and internationally.
Glenn Coffey
Development Manager
Glenn is responsible for the management and delivery of Hesperia’s industrial estates. He has over 15 years of professional engineering experience, overseeing the construction of large-scale, complex civil projects.
Prior to Hesperia, Glenn worked for JDSi Consulting Engineers as a civil engineering manager.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Finance) from the University of Western Australia. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a member of the Institution of Engineers, National Professional Engineers and College of Civil Engineers.
Graeme Dick
Hospitality Development Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Graeme oversees the delivery and ongoing cultivation of Hesperia’s hospitality venues. His role encompasses the development of new and existing venues within the group, focusing on customer experience and project management.
As the former General Manager of Little Creatures Fremantle, Graeme moved into a national strategic role following the acquisition of the business by Lion Brewing. During this time Graeme was responsible for scaling the business’ operations from five to 25 venues nationally.
Graeme holds a Degree in Hospitality Management and has extensive experience working with notable hospitality operators including SKYCITY Auckland, Mirvac Hotels and Accor Hotels.
Gráinne Byrne
Project Accountant
Gráinne works closely with the Hesperia’s project teams, assisting with financial accounting and project reporting workstreams.
Gráinne also has responsibility for Hesperia’s accounts payable function, HR processes, record- keeping, and financial reporting. Prior to her role at Hesperia, Gráinne worked for HLB Mann Judd Perth, in the Property Management department of Savills Dublin, and in the Asset Management division in Ernst & Young Dublin.
Gráinne holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Queens University, Belfast, as well an International business accreditation from Lyon College, Arkansas. She is a member of the Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Harry Seward
Construction Manager
Harry works across Hesperia’s mixed-use and built form projects, with a particular focus on management of the design and construction activities.
Working within the construction industry for the last ten years, including eight years as a structural engineer at BG&E, Harry has significant experience in delivering complex, large scale built form projects.
He completed studies at the University of Western Australia, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours.
Ian Smyth
Senior Development Manager
Ian oversees the delivery of Hesperia’s mixed-use and commercial built form projects. His role encompasses all aspects of development management from planning, design development, sales and leasing, through to construction delivery.
Previously with Fini Group, Ian has been in the property development industry for over a decade. He had a key role in the delivery of the national award-winning Knutsford residential development in Fremantle, as well as the Stirling Cross Precinct masterplan.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, with a double major in Property and Commercial Law, and is currently obtaining a Master of Finance degree.
Jack Varney
Analyst
Jack assists with the day-to-day development management of Hesperia’s multi-residential and hospitality projects. He also provides analytical support across the group, including project feasibility modelling and market research.
Prior to his role at Hesperia, Jack interned at Fini Group and Argonaut Securities.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science (double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Finance) from the University of Western Australia.
Jamie Fini
Development Manager
Jamie is responsible for the management and delivery of a range of Hesperia’s commercial and residential projects. During his diverse career, spanning over eight years, he has held senior roles in the property, investment banking and hospitality sectors.
Prior to joining Hesperia, Jamie was the Managing Director of Fini Group, a private investment and development group with an extensive portfolio spanning hospitality operations, heritage properties, retail shops, office buildings and developments. He has also previously worked at Azure Capital and Harris Farm.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics and Finance) from the University of Melbourne. Jamie has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a board member of the Perth Zoo and Future Force Foundation.
Jo Bennett
Senior Development Manager
Jo oversees the delivery of Hesperia’s mixed-use and residential built form projects. She has a diverse range of experience across complex planning processes, design development, construction delivery, sales and leasing, marketing and legal negotiations.
Her career of over 15 years encompasses senior roles at Fini Group, Mirvac Group Ltd, and Peet Ltd, delivering multi-residential projects and masterplan land developments. During her time at Fini Group, Jo had a lead role in the State Buildings redevelopment team with a focus on the retail tenancy and delivery strategy.
She holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, as well as postgraduate qualifications in Property Investment from Curtin University. Jo is also a member of the Property Council of Australia’s Residential Committee (WA Division).
Karina Hiller
Executive Assistant to Adrian Fini
A highly skilled and experienced member of the executive administration team, Karina provides critical support to Adrian Fini and the Hesperia executive team.
Having worked as an executive assistant for over 25 years across the mining and property sectors – and personally with Adrian for 18 years – Karina brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.
Katherine Curnow
Receptionist & Office Assistant
Katherine provides reception and administration support at Hesperia.
She has extensive administration and Executive Assistance experience including working for companies such as Microsoft and Boston Consulting Group, as well as high-profile Australian music artists.
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations & Journalism) from Curtin University and an Advanced Diploma of Contemporary Music Performance (Voice) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
LiKai Tan
Analyst
LiKai is responsible for research, project financing, feasibility analysis, project due diligence and acquisitions at Hesperia.
His career experience includes roles in both the Transaction & Value Advisory and Business Restructuring teams at PwC.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia (majoring in Finance and Economics) and has completed Level 1 of the CFA program. LiKai is also part of the Fundraising & Sponsorship Committee for Fair Game, an Indigenous-focused not-for-profit organisation.
Lily Pittard
Development Manager
Lily works across Hesperia’s industrial estates and provides support for the group’s commercial built form projects.
Lily started her career at Linc Property with a focus on delivering the highly successful Northlink Industrial Park in Gnangara and the final stage of the Swan Brewery Industrial Estate, which both involved significant stakeholder coordination.
Lily is currently studying a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Marketing) at Swinburne University, Melbourne.
Matthew Chau
Project Director
Matthew is responsible for all stages of development from site acquisition through to completion for Hesperia's residential developments.
He has developed a wealth of experience in the property and construction sectors since 2001. Matthew has been responsible for a number of significant apartment developments in Perth and focuses on planning, project finance and the high-quality design of infill sites. He also has a significant level of management experience gained by overseeing large teams of people working on complex projects.
Matthew holds Bachelor degrees in Law, Architecture (Hons) and Environmental Design from UWA. He focuses on developing key commercial relationships and building the right teams of people to work collaboratively and deliver high quality outcomes.
Nick Locke
Analyst
Nick is responsible for research and financial analysis, as well as assisting with development management activities across a variety of projects at Hesperia.
Prior to his role at Hesperia, Nick worked for Knight Frank Australia as a licensed property valuer and researcher, and for a Singaporean-based family office focusing on new acquisitions and asset management for a portfolio of retail assets within Australia and abroad.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property Development and Valuation) from Curtin University.
Patrick Hollingworth
Senior Development Manager
Patrick oversees the delivery of Hesperia’s commercial and mixed-use projects. His responsibilities include planning, design development, sales and leasing and construction delivery.
He has over 10 years of experience in the construction and development industry and was most recently responsible for the delivery of Charter Hall’s Raine Square redevelopment as well as the $1.5 billion 555 Collins Street commercial development in Melbourne.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) with Honours from Curtin University as well as a Graduate Diploma in Property and a Diploma of Building and Construction.
Rob Tucker
Assistant Development Manager
Rob is responsible for project research and financial analysis, as well as assisting with development management activities at Hesperia.
Prior to joining Hesperia, Rob worked at boutique investment bank Azure Capital, advising on mergers and acquisitions along with project financing engagements across a wide range of sectors.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics and Finance) with Honours in Finance from the University of Western Australia. During his studies, Rob interned with Ernst & Young and worked as an accounting and finance tutor at UWA Business School.
Song Goh
Chief Financial Officer
Song oversees day-to-day firm operations across a range of functions including finance, risk, IT, and HR coordination.
He also advises on Hesperia’s medium to long-term business and financial planning, and plays a key role in developing relations with project finance partners.
He has previously had an integral role leading transaction structuring, project finance, due diligence and acquisitions. Prior to joining Linc Property, Song worked for the wealth management firm Capital Partners, where he was a key member of their Investment Committee.
Song graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance and Accounting), and is a CFA Charterholder.
Susannah Packer
Assistant Development Manager
Susannah provides development support for Hesperia’s industrial projects, primarily assisting with tenancy management, consultant coordination, sales, marketing, planning approvals and delivery.
She has previously worked with Linc Property in administration and project support roles.
Susannah holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
